Usually, when people ask "Does anybody know of a game that will take a while for me to beat?", most people will respond with an RPG game of some sort. FPS's aren't usually known for long hours of gameplay. But Resistance 2 developers have claimed that you would need to play around 420 hours to completely beat this game. Including finding all the briefings, maxing out every class, unlocking every level coupled with an 8 hour campaign and the Multiplayer modes. I can't think of a person I know that would spend all those hours of his life completely "beating" a game, lol. I wonder how much of those 420 hours will actually keep you interested and engaged into the game, though.
You can boast about how long a game lasts, but if the game doesn't keep you interested the whole time. Well, I won't talk about how fun the game actually is until I've played it for myself, I suppose.
