Sony Patents New Controller and LBP

(Click the picture above)Apparently getting some ideas from the Wii, Sony patents a new "break-apart" motion sensing controller. It can break into two pieces, and it has advanced motion sensing, it also has removable button faceplates. Round knobs with LED lights and ultrasonic sound emitters are found on the top of the handles, this allows the Playstation Eye to be able to track their movements. This what allows for the advanced motion sensing. The two handles can be connected in different ways, one configuration is a modern type game controller, while the other configuration looks like a sort of weapon, or rod. This product may not actually be used, but hey, it's still interesting to say the least. It sounds horrible to me, though.

Little Big Planet Download Content

The Playstation Blog has revealed some of the DLC to come in the future. Fans will be able to download the downloadable content for free during October 6th - October 19th. Here's the break down (the images are on the Playstation Blog, though):
